Borrowing one is a good way to experiment, but it’s best to get your own so that you can practice whenever – and for however long – you like. This will also make it easier to learn, as you’ll always be using the same guitar. You also need to honestly assess your commitment level. How much time do you have to practice on a daily basis? Are there other interests that will take priority?
