Epic Pictures Group is igniting the market with the premiere screening of SPACE DOGS 3D, an English language animated film that tells the incredible tale (or is it tail?) of Belka and Strelka, two Russian dogs who become the world’s first canine astronauts (or cosmonauts). Originally produced in Russia by Vadim Sotskov under the CNF Anima banner, project is one of the most ambitious Russian productions in recent history with a budget of 35 million US.

Pre- market, the film has generated a huge amount of interest with theatrical deals already closed in Poland, Turkey, Korea, the Middle East, Italy, and China.

Film will be screened in Real D 3D, the same format as Avatar, to give the buyers what the ticket buying audience has been demanding.

Epic Pictures is already working on a sequel to SPACE DOGS, aptly titled, SPACE DOGS 2, which will also be produced in 3D.

A television series in 2D is also currently in pre-production.

San Diego, CA – Epic Pictures and Malaysian-based KRU Studios previously announced partnership to produce a series of big-budget action films is moving full steam ahead.

Epic is showing 4 minutes of brand-new footage from THE MALAY CHRONICLES: BLOODLINES, the six million dollar epic adventure filled with massive battle scenes and cuting edge visual effects.

THE MALAY CHRONICLES: BLOODLINES, takes place in 120 A.D. Merong, a descendant of Alexander the Great, is asked to escort a Roman prince to Southeast Asia to meet and wed a beautiful Chines princess. However, the pirate nation of Geruda has other plans and kidnaps the princess to use her as randsom.

Patrick Ewald States: “We will be giving buyers a sneak peek of brand new footage that I know will blow people away. The level of visual effects, stunts, production design, and general look of the production is something that would normally see in a studio-level action film.”

Pre-Cannes, sales have already closed with France (F.I.P), Germany (Elite Film), UK (Metrodome), CIS (Daro), China (H.G.C.), Middle East (Phars Film) with deals underway in Former Yugoslavia, Turkey and Israel.

Epic and KRU will also be discussing their six picture action slate of 3D stereoscopic films, the first of which is the previously annoucned, VIKINGDOM, a 15 million dollar action-adventure which will have the visual look of 300 and SIN CITY. VIKINGDOM will be shot entirely on a digital soundstage with live actors and will be directed by Yusry A. Halim who helmed THE MALAY CHRONICLES. Production on VIKINGDOM will begin in January 2011. The Ugly Truth was released amidst great fanfare. The advertisers took great care to keep the movie in the spot light for a long time. Unfortunately though, the movie itself didn’t do very well thanks to the very bizarre rezoning that it carried with it.

Now according to the movie this is what a girl should do to be able to get the man from her dreams. Supposing you are a woman in love with a man, the movie puts across the message that you as a woman can’t be more prosperous or cleverer than the man you are trying to woo. You can’t even be reserved with him.

To be able to get this man into your arms, you can’t dare earn more than what he is managing at the moment and it’s a complete no-no to be a little wiser than what he is. If you can manage it, a slutty attitude is a turn on to him and what does him in is the inner tramp that you will let loose.

That’s the whole movie summed up for you right there. This more or less seems like the ladies who had written the script are still living a century behind time. Three ladies wrote the script. Sorry to say ladies but this story is utterly unbearable in this day and age and Katherine Heigl what were you thinking when you said yes to get signed as not only the lead role of the dumb girl but also as one of the movie’s producer?

Abby (Katherine Heigl) produces a show on TV. She is put into a situation where she cannot avoid but will have to compete with Mike (Gerard Butler). Now Mike is supposed to have a very low opinion of women but he features in a part of Abby’s show giving advice on relationships.
